Letter to the Editor: Experience counts in County Recorder election

(The following Letter to the Editor has been submitted by Pat Huinker of Decorah):

"Winneshiek County is fortunate to have good people running for offices on both sides of the political spectrum, as well as those running as Independents.   The race for Winneshiek County Recorder is certainly one of those races.  While there are two very good candidates on the ballot, I urge support for Jayne Schultz because of the experience she brings to the office.  During my working years, I had almost daily contact with Jayne.  With regard to any questions on legal descriptions, the recording of documents, the transfer of ownership, etc. (things that happen with every real estate transaction in the county), she is very knowledgeable, was always very helpful and very prompt with any responses to questions or concerns."
