The Luther College Community Music School is now enrolling people for their second session of the school year.  Classes and lessons are open to youth musicians of all experience levels.

Luther College music education students are serving as instructors at the school, which is open to anyone in the Decorah area.  Session II classes begin at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday at Decorah Lutheran Church, 309 Winnebago Street in Decorah.  They run through December 5th. Tuition is $30 for the six-week session.

Options for classes include Beginner Ukulele, Intermediate Ukulele, Drumming Circle and Barred Instrument Band for grades 3-8 and Rock Band and Songwriting Class for students in grades 5-8.  Participants are dismissed at 8:50 a.m. to walk next door to school.

The school offers group classes, private lessons and SoDa Club—a community choir and dance program for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
