Two Winneshiek County Mediacom employees recognized

Two Winneshiek County Mediacom employees have earned the company's top customer service award.

Spillville resident Whit Canatsey has been awarded the national gold-level "Customer Service Hero Award" for calling 9-1-1 on behalf of a customer who fell unconscious as Canatsey was doing a scheduled visit. Canatsey, a Mediacom employee for the past four years, is one of 37 gold-level award winners across the company.

Ossian resident Kory Cook has been awarded the national silver-level "Installer Technician of the Year Award" for his work as a broadband specialist in the technical operations field. Cook, who has worked for Mediacom for the past three years, is one of 32 silver-level award winners across the company.
