Luana man arrested for driving without a valid license and drug possession

In the early morning hours on Saturday, 34-year-old Peter Torres of Luana was arrested in Postville by the Clayton County Sheriff's Office on a warrant for not having a valid driver's license. Torres was transported to the Winneshiek County Jail, where he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) - 3rd offense.
