Decorah accident causes $2,500 in damages

Decorah Police responded to a two-vehicle accident Friday evening.

Police say 23-year-old Heidi Mirth of Marengo was waiting to turn onto Highway 52 from Highway 9 when 54-year-old Mary Hemesath of Ridgeway rear ended Mirth's vehicle.

Neither driver was injured.  No tickets were issued.
