Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce needs volunteers for its Visitors Center

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers to share their knowledge about Decorah and the surrounding area with visitors. Volunteer shifts are scheduled on Saturdays year-round and seasonally on Sundays.

Anyone nervous about starting out can be partnered with a current volunteer.  During the 2018 summer months over 3,000 visitors stopped in to the Visitors Center to get information.

Volunteer responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering questions about the area, and giving directions.

An informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 24th, from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce.
