Traffic accident takes him through corn field and bean field

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says a Castalia teenager missed an intersection at 127th Avenue and 175th Street in Frankville Township early Saturday morning and as a result landed in a farm field.

17-year-old Lucas Wiedow of Castalia entered the south ditch and drove through a corn field and then returned to the road by driving through a bean field.

Wiedow was ticketed for Failure to Maintain Control.
