Top tower is installed on new Viking State Bank building

Crews on Monday installed the top tower on the new Viking State Bank building in downtown Decorah, attracting a crowd of onlookers.

The new bank facility will have 14,271 square feet of space over two stories.  The most striking feature of the building is the tower, which will include clocks after the building is completed.

Construction crews on Monday afternoon used a large crane to lift the tower and get it into position on top of the building.
