Flu shots still available at Winneshiek County Public Health

If you missed Thursday's Winneshiek County Public Health Nursing Service flu clinic at the Fairgrounds, you can still get a flu shot.

Winneshiek County Public Health is accepting walk-ins for flu injection at their office at 305 Montgomery Street in Decorah from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.  The cost of the vaccine is $30.  No appointment is necessary.

Anyone ages 6 months and older can receive the shot. It takes two weeks for you to be fully covered against the influenza with the vaccination, so health officials are urging people to get protected as soon as possible.
