Pedestrian injured in an accident in Calmar

On Monday evening the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office received a report of an accident on Maryville Street in Calmar involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The injured pedestrian was transported to Winneshiek Medical Center and later transferred to Gundersen in La Crosse.

This accident remains under investigation and no other details will be released at this time.
