NEICAC staff member is recognized

Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation Weatherization Assistance Program Director Scott Fischer has been recognized by a national organization.

Fischer received the designation of "Certified Community Action Professional," or "CCAP," at the National Community Action Partnership Annual Training Conference in Denver, Colorado. . To achieve this certification involves achieving a high enough score on a data candidate form, the completion of an Executive Skills Portfolio, and if scoring high enough on both, they are invited to sit for a 3-hour examination. Candidates that successfully pass the examination become Certified Community Action Professionals.
