Leaf pickup begins Monday in Decorah

City of Decorah residents this fall are being encouraged to use the City Yard Waste Disposal Site on Trout Run Road or the leaf bin at the City Street Deaprtment offices at 108 Railroad Avenue.

However, leaves may be deposited along the curb line of any street or alley from October 1st through November 15th for pickup by city crews. The pickups rotate according to city wards, with leaves being picked up in wards 1 and 2 this week Monday through Friday.
