Round 3 of Menards testimony is scheduled for Monday night

The Decorah City Council Monday evening will hold its third public hearing on the application by Menards to rezone property on Old Stage Road for a 209,000 foot store.

The public hearing is being held to consider the application to change the zoning designation from "floodplain" to "C-4 Shopping Center Commercial."

Two previous public hearings have seen both sides represented, although more opponents than supporters have spoken.

There have been no new letters or communication with city officials in the past two weeks about the application.
