Accident on Fifth Avenue does $4,000 in damages

A Thursday afternoon traffic accident on Fifth Avenue caused $4,000 in damages.

Decorah Police say 16-year-old Kaitlyn Golly pulled out from Painter Street into Fifth Avenue, striking a van driven by 67-year-old Diane Schulte of Waukon.

Neither driver was injured. No tickets were issued.
