Car vs. deer collision causes $4,000 of damage

Decorah Police responded to a motor vehicle accident shortly before 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. 63-year-old Carla Mueller of Postville was traveling westbound on Highway 9 in Decorah when she struck a deer in the roadway. The collision caused an estimated $4,000 of damage to her 2014 Ford Escape. No injuries were reported.
