Decorah Boy Scouts receive a $2,000 grant

Boy Scout troop 66 received a $2000 grant toward the storage of American flags when they are not in use for their patriotic service project.

Troop 66 put up 100 flags throughout the city of Decorah this year during the 5 major flag holidays. In 2019, the troop plans to quadruple this number, and will be actively enlisting Decorah residents to join their patriotic service project in the spring.
