Decorah Police make a shoplifiting arrest

A Decorah woman has been arrested on a charge of 5th Degree Theft (shoplifting).

Decorah Police were called to Walmart Friday night.  They arrested 56-year-old Heather Smith Tappen of Decorah for allegedly having removed $166 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for the items.

She was given a court date and then released.
