Decorah Fire Department assists two area fire departments Tuesday night

Decorah firefighters were busy Tuesday night--but not in Decorah.

The fire department offered mutual aid to the Cresco and Clermont fire departments in separate calls.

In Cresco, nearly 30 senior living home residents were evacuated after a possible lightning strike started a fire on the roof of the Evans Assisted Living facility.  The Decorah Fire Department was one of four area fire departments called out for the fire.
