Postville woman ticketed for Wal-Mart parking lot accident

Decorah Police issued a citation to 21-year-old Marissa Nunez of Postville, Saturday around noon, for failure to provide proof of financial liability as a result of an accident in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Nunez pulled into the Wal-Mart parking lot and drove down the parking lane in the wrong direction. She attempted to pull into a parking spot and struck the side of an unoccupied 2006 Ford F250 truck that was properly parked. The collision caused $1,500 of damage to the truck, and $400 of damage to her 2008 Chevrolet Malibu.
