There's been a delay in the trial of 29-year-old Tiffany Ranweiler-Oblander, the Decorah woman accused of engaging in sexual contact with an 18-year-old student in the Howard-Winneshiek School District.
Ranweiler's trial was scheduled to begin Monday in Cresco, but has now been postponed until October 31st. Investigators accuse her of having sex on "numerous occasions" during the past school year away from the high school. She has been put on administrative leave from her job in Howard-Winneshiek, has been banned from the school grounds and has been forbidden to have contact with the student. She is free on $5,000 bail.
