Hectic weekend for Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies

Six different arrests were made by Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies over the weekend.
Around 11:45 Friday morning the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant at a residence on Center Street in Decorah. 35-year-old Andrew Quinn of Decorah was arrested on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (marijuana) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was taken to the Winneshiek County Jail. The Sheriff's Office says the case remains under investigation and additional charges are pending.
Friday night around 10:30, 36-year-old Tauren Gess of Decorah was charged with Second Offense Public Intoxication and Possession of Controlled Substance (marijuana). He was arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail.
Later Friday night--around 11:00--33-year-old Joshua Amunrud of Dorchester was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail.
Saturday afternoon around 1:30, 36-year-old Kristina Broszeit of Calmar was arrested on two warrants--one for Felony Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) and a second for Serious Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.
Sunday morning shortly before 2:00, 31-year-old Dustin Reyes of Postville was stopped on Highway 52 in Springfield Township. He wound up facing seven charges: Aggravated Misdemeanor Assault on Peace Officer, Serious Misdemeanor Assault on Peace Officer, Serious Misdemeanor Operating Under the Influence, Serious Misdemeanor Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Offense, Simple Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While License Under Suspension and Speeding. He was taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.
Finally, Sunday afternoon just before 3:30, 20-year-old Trey Baures of Decorah was stopped on Highway 52 in Decorah Township, then arrested on seven charges: Aggravated Misdemeanor Eluding, Speeding, Driving on Wrong Side of Two Way Highway, Passing Contrary to Highway Sign, Careless Driving, Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability and Operation without Registration. He is in custody in the Winneshiek County Jail.
