Who will win "The Battle of the Badges?"

Planning has begun on a "Battle of the Badges" involving law enforcement agencies, fire departments and EMS groups.

In this case, it's a "Battle of the Badges Blood Drive," a friendly competition among individuals who are donating blood to vote for their favorite "badge."

In an effort to increase donations, there is now a traveling trophy awarded to the "badge" that gets the most votes.  The next Battle of the Badges will be held October 5th from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Decorah City Hall.
