Fort Atkinson man has died in a tractor accident

A tractor rollover in Fayette County has taken the life of a Fort Atkinson man.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office took a 911 call around 3:00 Thursday afternoon and deputies were called out to P Avenue, just north of Pheasant Road, northeast of St Lucas.

Once deputies arrived they discovered the driver of the tractor was pinned underneath.  68-year-old Linus Joseph Kuennen of Fort Atkinson was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.  Kuennen appeared to be doing farm work  when his tractor rolled into a deep ditch.
