Register now for the Healthiest State Annual Walk

Registration for the Healthiest State Annual Walk is now open. Schools, worksites and communities are invited to join Iowans statewide for a 30-minute walk on Wednesday, October 3rd.

The goal of this year's walk is to have walks organized and registered in all 99 counties of Iowa.

Those who sign up on behalf of their school, business or community can access resources, such as communications templates, customizable posters and information on social media contests. Schools and communities will have an opportunity to win $1,000 to enhance the health and well-being of their school or community. In addition, the Healthiest State Initiative will be hosting weekly prize giveaways throughout August on their Facebook page.
