Fort Atkinson man arrested on a sexual abuse charge

An investigation by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office has led to the arrest of Fort Atkinson man on a felony charge of sexual abuse.

53-year-old Joseph Taylor was arrested Saturday morning on a warrant issued as a result of an incident that occurred in Spillville on July 25th.

Taylor turned himself in to the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office and was booked into the Winneshiek County Jail.  Taylor posted bond of $13,500 a short time later and was released. 

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says the case remains under investigation.  No additional details will be released at this time.
