Iowa House candidate Kayla Koether wrapped up her district tour with a Decorah stop Thursday

Iowa House candidate Kayla Koether Thursday night finished her 17-stop campaign tour with an event at Pulpit Rock Brewing in Decorah

A crowd of around 80 people gave its opinions on the challenges that confront rural Iowa.  Affordable housing, empty storefronts, a labor shortage and soil erosion were among the issues mentioned.  Koether told the group having success in solving those problems "goes back to priorities and who's in control (in state government)."
