Statewide website says Decorah native Rob Sand has the best chance of defeating a Republican incumbent

Iowa Starting Line (www.iowastartingline.com) is a news website which covers Iowa political news.  It was founded in January of 2015 by Pat Rynard, a former Democratic campaign staffer who has lived in Iowa for the past 14 years.

The website has taken a look at Iowa election races three months ahead of the November 6th election and has given some love to Decorah native Rob Sand, the Democratic Party candidate for State Auditor:

"All three of the Democratic challenger candidates for statewide offices have impressed activists and racked up good fundraising totals this year. Rob Sand probably has the best chance of the three of defeating the Republican incumbent. He has a huge fundraising advantage over State Auditor Mary Mosiman and has kept up a steady public presence with campaign events and press hits."

Sand has raised over half a million dollars in campaign contributions--but none of that money has come from political action committees.
