Winneshiek Medical Center announces graduates of Babysitter Training

Winneshiek Medical Center trained 64 youth for the responsibility of babysitting this summer. At the Winneshiek Medical Center babysitter training, students learn the basics of babysitting, basic child care and first aid from trained instructors, first-responders/paramedics and law enforcement.

Babysitter training is a one-day class, and is held from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm on the lower level of Winneshiek Medical Center.  Class cost is $40 per child, which includes all materials for the day, lunch and a snack.  This course is appropriate for youth ages 11 and older, and prepares students to face the challenge of babysitting.
