As work is wrapping up on the paving of North Winn Road, turning lanes have been installed at Seed Savers

The major paving work has finished on North Winn Road, so now the project's final weeks will be spent on the finishing touches.

Winneshiek County Engineer Lee Bjerke says one of those additional touches has been the installation of turning lanes at the two entrances to Seed Savers Exchange.  The lanes are for northbound traffic turning right into Seed Savers.  No turning lanes have been created for southbound traffic wanting to turn left.  Bjerke says the two turning lanes were installed because there are short sight lines at Seed Savers, with traffic traveling at a good rate of speed.

Bjerke says crews will also be working on painting lines on the road and on shoulders and other finishing touches.
