Decorah man and woman charged with Child Endangerment and multiple drug charges

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant at a residence on East Water Street in Decorah on Monday.

44-year-old Bruce Divers and 44-year-old Valerie Burke, both of Decorah, were each charged with Child Endangerment-Meth Exposure, Possession of Methamphetamine-Third or Subsequent Offense, Possession of Marijuana-Third or Subsequent Offense, and Possession of Ephedrine (All Class D Felonies). Divers and Burke were both arrested and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Decorah Police Department, Decorah Fire Department, Winneshiek Medical Center Ambulance, and the Iowa State Patrol.
