Vesterheim Receives $20,000 Grant from Iowa Arts Council

Vesterheim Norwegian-American museum and heritage center has received a $20,000 grant from the Iowa Arts Council.

The money comes from the Cultural Leadership Partner program of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs. Grant funds will support Vesterheim's many activities, such as Norwegian Christmas Weekend and special programs during the 2018 exhibition "Christian Midjo: Choose Your Own Artventure."

The grant to Vesterheim was one of more than 200 statewide projects which received a total of more than $2 million.
