Oneota Community Co-op announces it has paid off the member loans it received when moving into its new building

The Oneota Community Cooperative says it has now repaid everyone who loaned money to the local and organic cooperative grocer when the co-op relocated its store in 2008.

The member loan campaign launched in 2007 raised almost $360,000 from 77 member/owners. The average loan was just over $4,000.

The combined financial contributions of regular membership equity and these special member loans helped the co-op to move into the larger spaces it occupies today.
