"Your Money, Your Goals" is a course from Iowa State University Extension aimed at teaching non-profit groups, volunteers, clergy and social service providers how to help their members or clients with managing finances. The 6-hour program will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Keystone AEA Decorah office at 700 Ridgewood Drive in Decorah.
Course topics include making spending plans, saving money, managing credit and getting organized. Participants will learn how to help others to develop a spending plan and save money, get and review a credit report, make a simple plan to pay down debt, access appropriate community resources and understand influences on financial decision-making.
