Charges have been formally filed against the second teen involved in the July 12th assault

Bond has been set at $25,000 cash for 18-year-old Dalton Adam of Decorah, accused of assaulting 46-year-old David Hansen of Freeport on July 12th.

Adam was captured in Crawford County, Wisconsin the day following the assault.  A warrant was served on him for his return to Winneshiek County, where a charge of Causing a Willful Injury, a Class C felony, was filed against him.

A preliminary court appearance for Adam has been scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the Winneshiek County Courthouse.
