There's been a drowning on the Upper Iowa River

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says there was a drowning on the Upper Iowa River Sunday afternoon.
A news release says the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office, Decorah Fire Department, Winneshiek Medical Center ambulance and Iowa State Patrol all responded to the report.
The scene of the drowning is described as "the Upper Iowa River northwest of Decorah." The victim's body was recovered shortly after emergency crews arrived on the scene.
The Sheriff's Office says, "Out of respect for the family of the victim, and due to the ongoing investigation, no further information is (being released) at this time."
