Vesterheim Board of Trustees adds nine new members

Vesterheim Norwegian-American museum and heritage center has added nine new members to its 23-member Board of Trustees.
Jill Johnson is a Madison, Wisconsin, area resident who is currently an attorney specializing in planned giving. Jill Nokleby Kaiser a Luther College graduate with a B.A. in English, Psychology, and Scandinavian Studies, living in the Twin Cities area. Kirk Mies is a Chicago area resident and a direct descendant of Daniel and Brithe Rossadal, who traveled to America in 1825 aboard the ship Restauration. Heather Miller is CEO and Chairman of the Board for Freedom Financial Bank in West Des Moines. Suzanne Mineck is president and CEO of Mid-Iowa Health Foundation and has extensive knowledge in nonprofit leadership, fund development, grant making, board management, collective impact strategy, project facilitation, and strategic planning. Bradley Nichols is a Decorah native who is a partner in Ernst & Young's Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services practice in Washington, DC. Ruth Ann Schultz is a Kansas City area resident who analyzes research and compliance products and services in the tax, accounting, human resources, employment, and healthcare fields. Ruth Sorenson, from the Washington, D.C. area, returns to board service after being on Vesterheim's board from 2001-2010. Craig Trygstad is a California resident who regularly travels to Thailand, China, South Africa, Sweden, Spain, and Italy.
