Two suspects in a fight at the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds are now both in custody.
Decorah Police say their officers were called to the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds around 11:45 p.m. on Thursday. During the investigation, it was determined that a victim had been assaulted and sustained injuries. The suspects were identified as 17-year-old Jacob Seelinger of Decorah and 18-year-old Dalton Adam of Decorah. The subjects fled the scene prior to the officer's arrival.
That led to a search for both. Seelinger was captured first. Now the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office reports Adam has been captured in Wisconsin by the Crawford County Sheriff's Office.
Adam was arrested on felony willful injury causing serious injury warrants, with a total bond amount of $50,000. Adam will be held in the Crawford County Jail, pending extradition.
Seelinger has now appeared before magistrate, who set bond in the case at $25,000. Seelinger will be transported to a juvenile detention facility.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says all subjects involved with this incident have been arrested and there is no threat to the public safety.
