Photo of the day: This street is closed--honest!

As we reported earlier this week, the 300 block of West Water Street will be closed until July 21st.  That's because work continues on the new building for Viking State Bank.

But obviously not every motorist has gotten this message.  In fact, some of them have been spotted over the last couple of days driving past the barricades on the east end of the 300 block of West Water Street.

Of course, when they go further down the street, they finally notice the heavy construction equipment and the piles of sand and dirt--and the fact that they have to turn around.

So here's a message to those motorists--yes, barricades really do mean you should NOT drive down the street.
