Dug Road Trail could be repaved in August

It's been a difficult stretch of time for people wanting to use the Dug Road Trail.  Heavy rains in August of 2016 washed out a portion of the trail and closed it to traffic.

A temporary fix was done in 2017, with a more permanent fix starting in the fall of 2017.  But more rain caused more problems and the paving of the trail, which had originally been planned for this spring, has had to wait for temporary repairs and more settling of the trail bed.

Now City Engineer Lindsay Erdman says paving of the trail is scheduled for August.  Of course, that depends on the weather, says Erdman.
