First responders recognized by Kerndt Brothers Bank

Volunteers who serve in law enforcement, emergency services and fire departments in Winneshiek, Allamakee and Fayette Counties will be recognized by Kerndt Brothers Bank in July.
 
Kerndt Brothers President and CEO James Kerndt has served for eight years on the Lansing ambulance service.  He says, "I appreciate and salute those who run toward an unfortunate event rather than away from it."
 
Kerndt Brothers Bank has arranged with each county's 4-H organization to provide a meal for First Responders at 4-H food stands at each of the three county fairs.  Tickets will be provided in advance to first responders by bank officers.
 
"We encourage individuals throughout Northeast Iowa to join in this effort and take a moment to thank First Responers who put their lives on the line for us each day," said Kerndt.
