"To all the people who have sent me cards, emails, phone calls, Facebook posts, and in person who have wished me well on my leaving the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office, thank you!  It has been a pleasure to have served the citizens of Winneshiek County as your Deputy Sheriff and it was a special honor to have been your D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Officer.  May each of you be blessed!"
