Porter House Museum Garden Party Fundraiser will be rescheduled

Saturday afternoon's intense storms had many impacts--including on the Porter House Museum's outdoor Garden Party.

Museum officials say when the Garden Party got hit with a sudden summer storm, the event moved indoors, "but we know a lot of people were kept away by the weather, and those who came were only able to enjoy it for a short time."

The garden party will be rescheduled for a future date, with the new event having no admission fee. The silent auction will continue at this later date, with all early bids honored.
