Fundraising for Nordic Dancers is underway

A fund drive supporting the Nordic Dancers is underway.

Gifts will be used to help offset the rising costs of transportation, lodging, meals, and other resources needed to keep the Nordic Dancers entertaining crowds and to keep this Decorah tradition alive.

It is the goal of the group to continue to take each Nordic Dancing group to Norway to experience first-hand the traditions and sights of the country, dance at various venues during their trip, and celebrate the end of their ten-year commitment to the program.

Donations to this year's fund drive can be sent to: Junior Nordic Dancers, C/O Jason Bockman, 2557 Clay Hill Rd, Decorah, IA 52101. You can also visit the group at the cookie booth and merchandise booth during Nordic Fest and support the group during their other fundraising ventures, including winter fudge sales, Bike-a-thon, and raffle.
