An Immigration Advocacy Fair was held Thursday evening at the First United Methodist Church in Decorah.
In order to increase awareness of immigration issues, the event invited displays by Decorah organizations that serve, advocate for, and welcome immigrants. Those organizations included Path to Citizenship; Neighbors Helping Neighbors; Immigration Legal Fund of the Congregational UCC; Northeast Iowa Peace and Justice Center's Immigration Group; Catholic Charities Immigration; Justice For Our Neighbors, AAMPARO; and Indivisible Immigration.
