Winneshiek County's Tourism Director has resigned

The Winneshiek County Convention and Visitors Bureau's Tourism Director has resigned.

Ries Magnuson was hired for the job in February, returning to Winneshiek County, where she had grown up. Magnuson graduated from Iowa State with a degree in animal science and microbiology, then got involved with non-profit organizations while working with an animal shelter and a YMCA in the Twin Cities.

Magnuson will work at the WCCVB through the end of June. The search for a new Tourism Director has begun.
