Several personnel changes will affect North Winneshiek in 2018-2019

With the consolidation of the North Winneshiek and Decorah school districts looming in the future, several personnel changes are being made for the 2018-2019 school year.

The North Winneshiek School Board has approved the resignations of three teachers who will be teaching in Decorah for the 2018-2019 school year.  Michelle Ptacek will teach middle school special education, Matt Amundson will teach 5th grade and Kristen Winter will teach 2nd grade.   The North Winneshiek School Board also has approved two staff sharing agreements with Decorah for the 2018-2019 school year.  Art teacher Susan Heier and music teacher Alex Gisleson will both teach 1.5 hours/week at West Side School while teaching at North Winneshiek the rest of the time.
