Two people taken to the Winneshiek County Jail in separate incidents

There are two new residents of the Winneshiek County Jail as of Friday.

Thursday afternoon shortly before 3:30 20-year-old Marlon Henriquez of Postville was arrested on a charge of driving while his license was suspended. The arrest happened on Highway 52 in Bloomfield Township.

Around 12:45 p.m. Thursday 18-year-old Kody Waters of New Albin was transported from the Allamakee County Jail to the Winneshiek County Jail on a warrant for failure to serve jail time for a Winneshiek County conviction.
