Yes, it's June, but one group in Decorah is thinking about Christmas!

What holiday decorations should Decorah have this year?  A small committee has been meeting since April to discuss this question.

Members of the committee, which is coordinated by the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce, include business owners and staff from the Decorah Street Department.

The group is now looking for members of the community to join in the conversation.  Community groups are also being encouraged to consider ways they might get involved in holiday decorations, perhaps by sponsoring a city park or gateway to the community.
