For one fawn, floodwaters were no fun

High water levels can pose a danger.  But a young fawn and her parents were able to overcome strong currents and cross the Upper Iowa River on Sunday.

decorahnews.com's Clara Knudson saw the three deer as they crossed over the dike near Aase Haugen and headed to the water.

There were some tense moments, but Clara reports the three deer made it safely to the opposite shore.
