River levels continue to fall

River levels in Winneshiek County continue to fall on Monday and are now below flood stage.

The Upper Iowa River was at 10.5 feet in Bluffton on Monday morning, with flood stage being 14 feet.  At Decorah the river was around 7.5 feet, with 12 feet being the flood stage.

The Turkey River also was below flood stage; it was around 8 feet in Spillville, where flood stage is 9 feet, and 16 feet at Garber, where flood stage is 17 feet.
